OEM/ODM
Korean Cosmetics OEM/ODM Services & Pricing
Developing skincare or makeup with a Korean manufacturer involves more than the manufacturing quote.
Research, product planning, manufacturer matching, sampling, packaging, documentation, and production coordination can all affect the overall investment.
Siseon uses a project-based pricing model, with our service fees separated from manufacturer and other third-party costs.

How Siseon Charges
Siseon uses a project-based model. Your total investment depends on the services required, the number of products being developed, and the scope of coordination needed.
Rather than requiring every client to purchase the same package, we build the scope around the services your project actually requires.
$1,500 — Applied toward the Development & Coordination Fee
The Project Deposit is the initial 50% payment toward Siseon’s Development & Coordination Fee. It is paid when the project is confirmed and before work begins.
The deposit covers the initial work required to begin the agreed project scope. It is not an additional fee on top of the Development & Coordination Fee.
$3,000 for the first SKU
Additional SKUs: +$750 per SKU
The Development & Coordination Fee covers the coordination required to move your product from manufacturer matching through initial production.
Includes:
- Manufacturer matching
- Manufacturer communication
- Product development and sample coordination
- Product specifications and development briefs
- Feedback and revision management
- Development timeline management
- Packaging coordination
- Initial production coordination
- Standard manufacturer documentation coordination
- Shipping coordination for the initial production order
Up to 3 development rounds per SKU are included.
Additional Costs
Additional development rounds beyond the three included rounds are charged at $200 per SKU per round. Regulatory services, specialized testing, certifications, and documentation requirements outside the standard project scope may be quoted separately based on the product and destination market.
Manufacturer costs, packaging and printing, testing, certification, freight, customs duties, taxes, and other third-party costs are separate from Siseon’s service fees.
If you need support defining the brand or product before moving into manufacturing, Branding & Product Development services can be added to the project.
These services may be commissioned separately or connected to a broader OEM/ODM project.

Quoted based on production scope
Continue working with your Korean manufacturing partner after the initial product development is complete. Siseon can coordinate repeat production orders, manufacturer communication, production schedules, specifications, packaging requirements, documentation, and shipping arrangements when you need ongoing support managing production from overseas.
Your Project Scope
Your proposal will outline the specific services included in your project, the development stages, and the corresponding fees before work begins.
You may engage Siseon for OEM/ODM development and coordination alone, or combine these services with Brand & Product Development depending on where you are starting.
Costs Outside Siseon Fees
Siseon’s service fees are separate from manufacturer and other third-party costs.
Depending on the project, these may include:
- Manufacturing and production costs
- Packaging components
- Custom packaging development
- Printing and packaging production
- Specialized testing
- Certifications
- Regulatory services
- Laboratory or technical services
- Freight and shipping
- Customs duties and taxes
- Destination-market import costs
- Specialist design or creative execution
Where possible, these costs are identified during the project planning and quotation process.
Development Details
Sampling & Revisions
The standard development scope includes up to three sample development rounds.
If additional revisions are required, an additional development coordination fee may apply.
The goal is not to limit development artificially. Additional rounds are available when they are needed to reach the right product.
Minimum Order Quantity
MOQ varies by manufacturer and product, usually starting at 3,000 units.
Some manufacturers may offer lower quantities for certain stock or existing formulations, while custom formulations, packaging, and specialized products may require higher production quantities.
Siseon considers MOQ as part of the manufacturer-matching process rather than applying one universal MOQ across all projects.

Regulatory & Documentation
Cosmetics regulations vary depending on the destination market and the specific product.
Siseon can coordinate manufacturer documentation and help organize communication with relevant regulatory specialists or service providers where required.
Siseon or the manufacturer does not act as the client’s destination-market Responsible Person or regulatory representative by default.
Shipping & Delivery
Siseon can coordinate shipping arrangements with the manufacturer and relevant logistics providers based on the agreed shipping terms.
Shipping, freight, duties, taxes, and other logistics costs are separate from Siseon’s service fees unless specifically included in the project scope.
The exact shipping arrangement depends on the destination, order structure, manufacturer, and agreed commercial terms.

Choose Where You Need Support
Some clients come to Siseon with a defined product and need a Korean manufacturing partner. Others need help determining what to develop before approaching manufacturers.
Already know what you want to make?
Start with Korean Cosmetics OEM/ODM.
Need help defining the product or brand first?
Start with Branding & Product Development, then connect the project to OEM/ODM development when you’re ready.
Building a new beauty brand from the ground up?
Brand strategy, product strategy, creative direction, and OEM/ODM development can be structured into one connected project.
Services are selected based on your objectives, project stage, and required level of support.
Need a different scope?
Every project is different.
You may only need a Korean manufacturer for an existing product concept. Or you may need support from the earliest stage of brand strategy through product development and production.
We can structure the engagement around the level of support you actually need rather than requiring every client to purchase the same package.
